It's ours!! YAY!

Today was handover day. Everything went well and the team at Wisdom have been brilliant. We are very thankful for the quality of work and professionalism from them. Now for the move. Ahhh!!!!

Almost time!!!

After speaking to the builder yesterday it appears everything is go for tomorrow.

This means tomorrow morning I shall get the keys, garage door controls and unrestricted access to the house. WOO HOO!!!!

Nothing much has happened build over the last week wise except for the finishing touches to the cosmetic things we found during the PCI, so I thought I would upload some external photos after the site fence has been removed.

Seeing that we got to go inside today I took the chance to grab a few pics.

Our handover has been booked for August 10th and our SS has confidence that this will happen, as long as all other parties play along.

PCI Done!

We had our PCI today and boy didn't we go through the house with a fine tooth comb. We rattled things, opened and closed things and turned things on and off. We were expecting to find a few things but everything we found was mostly cosmetic. I think my site supervisor got sick of me saying " I don't remember the house being this big" lol.

Driveway Done

Things are steaming ahead at the moment. Our driveway has been laid. It brings together all of our colours and we are very very happy with them all.

Changes - More electrical, Garage door installed, gas meter installed, more skirting done.

Garage Door and Gas

They have installed our garage door and gas meter. This must mean they successfully found the gas line, as the last we heard was they couldn't find it. I haven't been able to get in to the house to take some more photos of the kitchen and vanities just yet as nobody has been on site when I have visited. But I shall keep trying.

Architraves in place.

The Architraves have been done throughout the house and we love the decorative one in the main areas of the house. We have also been advised that we should reach lock up stage this week. :)

Walls Anyone?

The internal linings have commenced. The Gyprock has been placed on the walls and ceilings making the rooms look big again and reminding us of all the wonderful spacious reasons we chose the Providence by Wisdom.
